McCallum Place Columbia

Our eating disorder treatment programs provide a continuum of care, specialized to provide the right level of support to optimize recovery. Many start with our 24 hour Residential or our signature Extended 10 hour Partial Hospital offered 7 days per week. For those with significant outside support or feeding structure at meals, for optimal recovery we also provide traditional 6 hour Partial Hospital Program and 2 different types of Intensive Outpatient Program. Transitional Living is available for those from out of town to take advantage of our step-down options. Transitional Living has staff support 7 days per week. Family programming and Outpatient Services round out our continuum of care in St. Louis, Missouri.

McCallum Place St Louis

McCallum Place in Webster Groves (St. Louis), Missouri has the only eating disorder Transition House in the state of Missouri. This program is designed to help patients transition back to independent living after inpatient or residential treatment. Accommodations are conveniently located near many colleges and businesses. Patients are encouraged to return to school or work with the support of a treatment team. Special features include 3 levels of transitional care, frequent individual meetings with recovery coaches and dietitians, ongoing supported meals and daily group therapies.

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient and Comprehensive Outpatient Services

A multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, social workers, therapists, nutritionists, and psychiatrists works collaboratively to provide comprehensive outpatient services. In addition, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is available for those who need a higher level of care. Treatment utilizes empirically supported therapies. The IOP is a contracted facility for the major health care companies, e.g. Blue Cross, United Health Care, Magellan, etc. The Eating disorders team has a wide variety of expertise in addition to treating eating disorders such as art therapy, EMDR, Family Systems, FBT, CBT, DBT, trauma and more.
