Resources: Treatment and Information

The purpose of ED Treatment Review was to get a first hand review from patients/consumers who had been through the program. The goal is that the consumer looking for treatment can narrow it down by deciding what type/level of care, what types of therapies used, co-occurring disorders, even simple things as what would be good things to pack. We see these beautiful websites of spa looking centers, often outdated information from the admissions office, and many end up in a center that may not be tailored best to fit their needs. I try to keep the comments objective. The additional unique aspect of the page is the growing Professional Forum. This is a place where a treatment center can have their own page and put their own information on it. The unique aspect is, that consumers can ask questions or make comments on this page, and the treatment center can address it right away. Sometimes this is much easier than making time consuming phone calls to a dozen centers across the states. http://www.edtreatmentreview.com/
