Treatment Model: Together, we will find a path of new choices, deep healing,
& peace within yourself & with others. Why continue to suffer? If you come in, I
view it as an honor that you are inviting me into your life. My clients are
important to me and I do all I can to make sure they leave therapy a positively
changed person, better off because of the experience. As a Registered/Licensed
Dietitian, I can offer both, nutrition and mental health counseling. I am
certified in a highly effective treatment, EMDR (EMDRIA.org for info), to
resolve past traumas & eliminate negative beliefs that create anxiety,
depression, & negative coping like binging & purging. I use Cognitive-Behavioral
therapy and Internal Family Systems but can also teach you practical coping
techniques using accupressure points to calm and reprogram your nervous system &
your thinking. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with graduate degrees in
both, Mental Health Counseling & Health Promotion. Most important for successful
therapy is a positive connection. My clients say I am easy to talk to,
non-judgmental, compassionate and effective and better yet, many of them refer
their friends and family! At this time, I am happily accepting new clients 17
years of age and up who are medically stable & ready to change :) Please visit

The treatment program at Laureate offers two tracks of care – one for adolescents and one for adults. This allows us to continually ensure that we are offering age-appropriate interventions. We also have a track for more mature women allowing them to explore relative issues. A unique feature of our program is a continuum of settings, which allows us to place patients in the least restrictive, most cost-effective level of care. Both tracks have four levels of care: inpatient, residential, partial and outpatient. Eating disorders patients are not co-mingled with other patients at any level of care. During the transition through acute, residential, and partial hospital levels of care, patients retain the same psychiatrist, therapist, and dietitian to maintain continuity of care.
