'Ai Pono Eating Disorders Program on Oahu and Maui. This program is a 6 month intensive out-patient program, designed with evening hours to minimize disruption of school, work, or family activities. Treatment Model: As a nutritionist I assist with nutrition education, health coaching, menu planning and diet balancing. My clients and I work as a team to develop realistic treatment plans for issues such as anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, other disordered eating patterns, overweight and obesity. As a nutrition therapist, my approach is very personal and focused on each client's needs, strengths and values. I help my clients tap into the answers they already have within them and coax them out, providing real and lasting change. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy and expect clients to be an active participant in their treatment.
