Treatment Model: Jessica Gallego is a bilingual (Spanish/English) registered/licensed dietitian. She has extensive experience helping and treating patients suffering from obesity and eating disorder. After obtaining her M.S. in Nutrition from New York University, she worked at The Renfrew Center. At the Eating Disorder Center Mrs. Gallego worked with patients suffering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa as well as binge eating and compulsive overeating disorder. In the course of those years she designed and ran many groups including emotional eating, mindful eating, nutrition education, grocery tours, and eating out. Mrs. Gallego is certified by the American Dietetic Association on Weight Management. She has a passion to help people feel comfortable with themselves and their bodies while assisting them with their nutritional concerns.

Dr. Nicolle Arbelaez Lopez is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring concerns. Additional areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship issues and trauma. She has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families and is dedicated to providing a supportive, confidential environment where treatment focuses on symptom reduction, learning new coping skills, exploring and understanding underlying issues, enhancing self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. ED Recovery Support Group: TEENS is a safe, positive, open group for teens (ages 13-17) currently in therapy and needing additional support in their recovery. The pro-recovery group will aid in those with anorexic, bulimic, and or binge eating disorders/behaviors and will help with body image concerns.
