Treatment Model: Group of seasoned clinicians who use a variety of approaches to help their clients including: interpersonal, self psychology, feminist, and cognitive behavioral modalities. Additionally, the center integrates aspects of mindfulness, radical acceptance and forgiveness into their work with clients. They focus on client strengths, developing skills to cope with life and life experiences and ways to better manage affect. They work toward empowering women to lead fuller more satisfying lives. Additionally, they work with significant others in their client's lives to support growth and change and the relationships that are important to them.
The Brandywine Center treats Anorexia and Bulimia; males and females, adolescents, and adults. The Brandywine Center also works with Athletes and Compulsive Exercisers, Night Eating Syndrome, Food Addiction, Binge Eating Disorder, Obesity, Compulsive Overeating, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).
