Believing full recovery is possible, they offer intensive outpatient programs and services to men and women, age 16 and older, struggling with an eating disorder. Their mission is to provide accessible, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, collaborative treatment for those suffering from eating disorders and their families and loved ones. Their team has more than 75-plus years combined experience treating eating disorders in a variety of settings.
We are now accepting clients for participation in our day treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, including evenings and Saturdays. Castlewood at The Highlands is one of the most highly
regarded and Joint Commission Certified facilities in the Southeast. We provide
expert care to clients with all types of eating disorders, including clients
with the most complex and difficult to manage problems. Our facility is open to
both men and women, ages 16 and above. Our experienced clinicians use a
three-armed therapy approach, with medical, therapeutic, and nutritional
treatment supporting the recovery process. Research shows that this
multi-faceted approach is the most effective means of treatment for someone with
an eating disorder. Unfortunately, some treatment centers focus on only one or
two of these areas, leading to a relapse. Castlewood at The Highlands philosophy is to provide
fully customized care, integrating the medical, therapeutic, and nutritional
needs of each client in a dynamic and ongoing process.

Dr. Janzen uses an individualized, multi-level approach to help individuals and their affected family members deal with the feelings, thoughts and behaviors involved in their eating disorder. Having specialized in this treatment for over 20 years, she has developed a deep appreciation for both the tremendous difficulty these disorders cause the individual and the great potential each person has for recovery of a normal and healthy life.

Gaining hands on experience as a primary therapist and body image specialist at
Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders, she uses a unique and
personalized collaborative treatment model which includes incorporating loved

recover from various types of eating disorders, as well as other self
destructive behaviors. We are a residential program with only 14 beds so that
treatment can be individualized to accommodate the unique needs of our clients.
We generally use Cognitive-Behavior therapy and family counseling to help the
client construct better and more effective strategies for healthy living. We
