My passion for working with those struggling with food, weight, and body image issues is very personal having struggled with these issues myself since childhood. In fact, one of my main motivations for becoming a psychotherapist in midlife is because of the ineffective therapy I received through the years from so-called "eating disorder specialists." Thus, my academic and professional training, as well as my personal journey has prepared me to assist others in their liberation from disordered eating and the deepening of their self-worth and passion for living.
