I have just relocated from the Washington DC area. Over the 25 years that I was in practice there, I assisted many, many individuals with their recovery. I learned a great deal from clients as well. Because I have, in my career, also undertaken research on eating disorders and obesity, I have seen the importance of incorporating the newest and most helpful treatment research findings in my work. Each client is different. My knowledge and skills have depth as well as breadth, both from experience and from the excellent amount of training I have had, and in which I still engage. Therefore, I am able to individualize my work with clients. My success has provided me with continued confidence and hope regarding the possibility of an outcome of "recovery" for every client.
