Dr. Bailey has been in private practice for over 23 years, first as a Master level clinician and then a Ph.D. Psychologist. Twenty years ago she worked on inpatient eating disorders and adolescent psychiatric units, and continued her work and studies in this area. (Her MA level Research Project and Dissertation was on eating disorders). She worked within the psychoanalytic principles of eating disorders but is very knowledgeable of the cognitive-behavioral, family-systemic, bio-chemical and nutritional causes of eating disorders. Terryann became interested in eating disorders after interning in a private practice that specialized in assessments for bariatric surgery. She continued her education in the eating disorder field by completing the eating disorder certificate program at JFK University in April 2006.
