Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: Will provide clinical training to the staff, facilitate staff meetings, provide individual, group and family therapy and work with the Chief Executive Officer on administrative decisions. Ensure that the treatment needs of individual residents are being met, serving as a primary therapist for assigned residents, and that proper documentation from all clinicians takes place in a thorough and timely manner. The incumbent will manage clinical crises and emergencies within their scope of practice and will oversee any emergent administrative issues as the needs arise and will facilitate communications with outside professionals, community referral sources and any ancillary services that are necessary in the treatment of residents. Minimum Requirements: Must have a clinical knowledge of eating disorders, as well as the knowledge of therapeutic and medical interventions for treatment. Should have a comprehensive knowledge of the research being conducted in the area of eating disorders. The Clinical Director should be able to prepare and present professional papers for publication and make presentations at professional meeting, when indicated. Eating Disorder Center of Eugene (EDCE)/Rainrock Treatment Center, a treatment center for eating and exercise disorders, is seeking a full-time Primary Therapist. Candidates should have earned a graduate level clinical degree. They should currently possess, or have the ability to register in Oregon and seek licensure as a PsyD, PhD, LPC, MFT, or LCSW. Prior clinical experience in either residential or hospital eating disorder settings, and experience with insurance care coordination and utilization review is preferred, but not required. This is a full time position, and schedules may include day, evening, or weekend shifts. Job responsibilities include provision of individual therapy, group facilitation, family therapy, therapeutic meal and outing support, and coordination of care with other members of the clientís referring treatment team.
