Monte Nido & Affiliates/Rainrock Treatment Center, a residential treatment center for eating and exercise disorders, is seeking a full-time Primary Therapist. A graduate level clinical degree is required for this position, and applicants should currently possess, or have the ability to register in Oregon and seek licensure as a PsyD, PhD, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Prior clinical experience in either residential or hospital eating disorder settings is strongly preferred. Experience with insurance care coordination and utilization review is also valuable, as is experience with providing drug/alcohol treatment. Job responsibilities include provision of individual therapy, group facilitation, family therapy, therapeutic meal and outing support, and coordination of care with other members of the client’s referring treatment team. Other job components include clinical assessments, insurance pre-certifications and ongoing utilization management, discharge and aftercare planning, and ongoing participation within a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Work schedules may include day, evening, or weekend shifts. Due to treatment philosophy and program implementation, Primary Therapists are required, as part of the job, to have group meals and snacks with clients; therefore, applicants should be able to eat a complete range and variety of foods, without restriction.
