conducting the initial bio-psycho-social intake, creating treatment plans for

supporting the structure of a therapeutic milieu. Position works closely with
the Clinical and Medical Directors. The successful candidate has experience
working with eating disordered patients in both individual and group settings.
This position requires strong clinical conceptualization of the treatment of
eating disorders and dual diagnosis. Excellent communication skills, written and
oral. Attention to detail, decision-making skills, diplomacy and objectivity are
essential qualities. This position also facilitates discharge planning for
transition of care to outside providers. A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in mental

The candidate will receive comprehensive training in the application of DBT for patients with complex and multidiagnostic eating disorder presentations. As active members of our treatment team, trainees will provide individual CBT and DBT, facilitate DBT skills groups, and attend weekly clinical rounds and DBT consultation team. The position also requires an individual with strong analytical/research skills, experience evaluating clinical data, expertise in a range of statistical testing and procedures (e.g., survival analysis, regression models, etc.), and the ability to work with SPSS and excel files.
