National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD): (ANAD) provides a telephone hot line and e-mail referral center for those struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder at (847) 831-3438. Professionals and trained volunteers answer questions and offer referrals to support groups, therapists, physicians, nutritionists and inpatient and outpatient centers specializing in the treatment of eating disorders from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. ANAD's e-mail help center can be reached at: anadhelp@anad.org.
